SEXY NOT SLUTTY
It is a fine line these days between looking sexy and looking like a harlot. Women who achieve true sexiness are able to do so because they balance out their look, i.e. they are able to contrast revealing elements such as short mini skirts with fuller coverage tops and blouses. The rules for looking sexy without crossing the border into trampdom are very subtle. The key word is opposition. If you find yourself favoring a sexy top that hugs your chest or accentuates your midriff, then you must pair it with a more fuller coverage bottom layer such as jeans or a pencil skirt. As long as you make a contrasting statement between layers, you will be sexy and not slutty.
This fall/winter fashion season is witnessing a return of modesty. This is a bad thing for those girls who tend to toe the border between sexiness and sluttiness but a great thing for more conservative trend setters. Modern sexiness is less about showing great amounts of cleavage or midriff and more about subtlety. Try pairing a tight, sexy pair of stretch jeans with high heels and a loose, thin blouse that is off the shoulder. Do not ever be sloppy and show belly or butt-crack. Lately a bit of thong peeking out from the back of your jeans is acceptable but use your own judgment and do not be excessive with this free peep show.
The rules for looking sexy without emitting a slutty vibe are fairly straightforward. If you have great legs and want to show them off, feel free to do so in a short skirt. However do not choose a skirt that makes bending over an impossibility. Do not pair a short skirt with strappy high heels that lace up to your knee or with thigh high black boots that look like they belong at an S&M photo shoot. Flats are in this season and if you want to tone down the sexiness of a short skirt, try wearing ballet slippers instead of high heels. As far as blouses are concerned, do not fool yourself into thinking that your D cup breasts do not require a bra. If you can see your nipples through the fabric of your shirt you have gone too far. Also be wary about pairing a black bra with a see through shirt. This style is hard to pull off without losing the fight with harlotry.
If you are dying to wear a skimpy outfit that is of questionable taste, try accessorizing with ladylike shoes or a coat. The hint of the camisole peeping out from under a denim jacket will be enough for most men to send them over the edge. Leave a bit of mystery to your body. Do not give everything over at the beginning; make people fantasize about what you might be hiding. Hint at your inner slut but do not dress the part of a streetwalker. Your body is an enigma that your fashion holds clues to.
